Service description
I'm Okay is a daily check-in app for iPhone. You can record a check-in, configure reminders and an overdue window, and ask the service to attempt an email to trusted contacts when a configured workflow becomes due. Going Out and Just in Case features provide additional user-configured check-in and message workflows.
Not an emergency service
I'm Okay is not a replacement for emergency services, medical alert systems, fall detection, professional care, or safety monitoring. Do not wait for the app or an email when urgent help may be needed; contact the appropriate local emergency service directly.
Delivery and availability
Reminders and email attempts depend on notification permission, device settings, accurate contact details, internet access, recipient mail systems, and third-party service availability. They can be delayed, filtered, duplicated, or fail. You and your contacts remain responsible for deciding when and how to reach one another.
Trusted contacts and your content
You are responsible for the names, email addresses, relationships, notes, and message content you enter. Add a contact only when you are authorized to use their details for this purpose. Do not use the service to send unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or confidential content you are not permitted to share.
Subscriptions
The optional I'm Okay Pro subscription is billed through your Apple ID at the price shown in the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel through Apple subscription settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app. Deleting app data does not cancel a subscription.
Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for the profile, trusted-contact, check-in, device, message, analytics, retention, and deletion practices that support the service. The app does not request precise location or health data.
Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue features when needed for security, reliability, law, or product operation. You can stop using the app and request deletion through Settings. Sections that reasonably need to survive termination, including responsibility and limitation provisions, continue to apply.
Warranty and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and without a promise of uninterrupted operation or successful delivery. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
